The divorce rate in the world is rapidly increasing. In the first part of this blog, we have discussed some reasons for the increasing divorce rate in the world. In this part of the blog, nuclear family fashion, no religious affiliation, too much arguing, domestic violence, and other reasons will we discuss the reasons below:

Nuclear Family Fashion is causing an increase in the divorce rate.

The nuclear family fashion is mostly women remain happy but when any problem occurs between the husband and wife. They are enough old to settle down the problems, but the ego is a common issue in a couple who lives in a nuclear family fashion. A tiny issue in these families became a battle between them just because of ego problems. there is no elder to solve the tiny issue out. Some times in nuclear family fashion divorces occur with no major issue, but in a joint family system, many major issues are just solved on the table. the only woman can't blame for divorce in the nuclear family fashion; the problem occurs at both ends. so no one can blame women's empowerment as the root cause of divorce.

No religious affiliation:

It is a fact that people having religious affiliations have a very low divorce rate than people who do not have a religious affiliation. No religion promotes divorce; it’s a very unpleasant event in every religion(undesirable lawful event). People having religious affiliations have a lesser ego problem. They are humble and try their best to solve problems.

Lack of commitment and too much arguing are increasing divorce rates:

Some observe that the dedication of couples toward their marriage is becoming lesser day by day. They take divorce as an easier step to solve issues. In every little matter, they argue too much which weakens their relationship. A time comes when every conversation ends at a quarrel.

Almost 60% of divorce issues are based on domestic violence nowadays. It’s an issue occurring all around the world. It has two main subthemes as physical torture or mental torture. Before 4-5 decades, most of the women were not educated. But today most of the women are educated. They know their legal, social and political rights. Parents also give backup in domestic violence cases. They prefer to separate after knowing the behavior of the in-law's family. Here, you can say women’s empowerment is causing the increase in divorce rate but actually it’s not because before these women do not know about their rights. They used to bear unwanted violence. Women’s empowerment tells the women about their rights. The actual problem is domestic violence.

Unrealistic Expectation:

Today’s marriages are full of unrealistic expectations. Especially the love marriages have full of expectations but when the couple steps in the real world out of the imaginary world. They came to know that life is not as easy as our parents used to provide us. When they did not fulfill their desires, a permanent seed of quarrel is also been sowed between them. This quarrel ends with the bad end of marriages.

Premarital relationship and pregnancy:

The couple who lives in the relationship before marriage, they have higher chances of divorce after marriage if they marry each other. The divorce risk is much higher in those remains in a relationship with multiple partners. Most people believe that the couple who lived together before marriage knew each other better. They marry after complete satisfaction, but research found that they already developed the soft corner for divorce. This leniency for divorce is the factor that leads the couples to become high-risk clients of divorce.

These are the many reasons behind the rapidly increasing divorce rate in the world. Most of the people things that women's empowerment is the main cause of the increasing divorce rate but the actual reasons behind the scene are described above. There are many more reasons for divorce in different situations. Women's empowerment has some indirect effects on the increasing divorce rate, but there are almost zero direct effects.
