The divorce rate is increasing because of women's empowerment.

They mostly ask it a question that women’s empowerment causes an increasing divorce rate? The answer is definitely no, but it affects indirectly sometimes. Women’s empowerment causes the financial independence of women, ego problems between the couples, that ego is leading to divorce. The main reason is women’s empowerment changes the equation of society and brought misunderstanding between couples and lack of interaction cause communication gap because of lack of time multiplied. Nuclear family fashion is also a root cause, they are enough oldest to solve their problems but no one really does nowadays because of big-nosed ego problems. If domestic violence happens, now women know about their legal rights. Before that women do not know about their legal rights, they bear domestic violence with patience. This is another indirect cause of the increasing divorce rate. The main reasons for divorce and how women’s empowerment affects these reasons:

Reasons for Increasing Divorce Rate

Child marriage:

Child marriage is the biggest reason for divorce these days. At the time of marriage, couples don’t have a mature mind. When they grow up with the time, the physical and mental appearance toward things has changed totally. They hastily see the world.  This causes tension between couples.  This tension leads to the way of divorce. In most child marriages, a huge age gap is the main reason for child marriage. Women’s empowerment in not affect such marriages, but yes it does indirectly because it empowers women. Women’s empowerment educates them about their rights. Thus, the women apply for separation if required.

Less Education

Research shows that those who are just school pass outs are lesser educated and have more chances of divorce. Those who have some college education have a lower chance of divorce. Both partners have a piece of the good knowledge of their rights and rights of their partner, too. The chances of violence have reduced to a minimum. Knowledge about the rights of partners prevents another partner from domestic violence. Domestic violence is one of the root causes of divorce. Less-educated females do not know about their rights and bear unwanted torture.

Less income:

Having a moderate income can help couples to avoid stress and depression. But in low-income families, problems occur on a hanger. Hanger causes the quarrel between the couple and this daily routine quarrel to cause the state of depression and anxiety. Hanger and depression make a deadly combination.  Depression and stress are disturbing the mental health of a person badly. These are the factors with is now the main reasons for divorce nowadays.

Women's Empowerment and Its Hurdles

It doubles this very unfortunate situation in those children whose parents ' marriage ends at divorce. If both of the partners have this same issue, then they increase the risk thrice. This research-based fact; you may not think it before the marriage. The thing you should do is to increase the level of love and care to overcome this. So, you cannot say that women's empowerment causes divorce in this situation because the parent's divorce has inwards effects in your mind and makes leniency for divorce in your mind.

Arrange Marriage with a Huge Status Gap

Arrange marriage is a cause of divorce.

Arrange marriages with no conversation, without having the chat or even sometimes without seeing each other is mostly happened in India and Pakistan. This is a high risk of marriage nowadays because this happens with no understanding and without seeing the compatibilities. Arrange marriages mostly happen with only parents will and mostly have a huge education, age, and status gap. Mostly poor parents forced their young and beautiful daughters to marry a man of almost aged doubled to her just because he has a good status in society. This marriage mostly had a bad end because of the huge status gap.

Love marriages with extra expectations:

Love marriages with extra expectations a cause of divorce

Love marriages with the people of the same field, the same status, and mental approach have a very low risk of divorce. Marriages with extra expectations have a very high risk of divorce and most of the love marriages have this situation. Those people who accept the reality of their partner remain happy and chances of the divorce are very low but it knots most people in some love marriages in high expectations of love, care, and high profile lifestyle. In a real-life when they do not fulfill the desires of their partners because of tension between them. Which causes the bad end of the marriage. Here, you cannot blame the women's empowerment because this totally happens with the will of both partners.

Financial independence of women:

Women’s empowerment causes the financial independence of women. With financial independence, women do not bear domestic violence and rude behavior. As women are becoming more independent financially, it reduces the probability of women staying in a relationship out of absolute necessity and responsibilities. The financial independence of women is causing the prosperity of women and independence, but also you cannot say that the divorce rate is increasing because of women’s empowerment. Now women do not bear the relationship badly as an ulcer.
