Why women's empowerment is needed? Females are also human beings. So, they should also enjoy equal rights in society as males do. The women should be conferring the power to act freely, to exercise their rights and to be a full and equal member of society. Women's empowerment is the basic need of modern society. Female education is the first practical step towards women's empowerment. The world is rapidly accepting the fact that development without women's empowerment is impossible. Most developed countries have already taken those steps. Many undeveloped countries are still struggling to empower their women. The women have made their names in almost all fields. Third world countries are having a lot of problems in imparting the power to their women. We discuss some hurdles below:

Why Women's Empowerment is needed?

Education : 

Education is the basic step in empowering women.  Education is imparting knowledge, skills, and judgment between right and wrong. The literacy rate of women in underdeveloped countries is very low. Parent's narrow-mindedness is the main reason for the lack of female education. They ignore educating their girls. They think girls are only made to do household work. They assume the women can't do any other work except domestic works. That's why women's empowerment is needed. Education can tell women about their rights to live freely as men used to do. Educating women will tell her about their social, legal, and political rights, which is the basic need to today's life.

Human Capital Development:

The contribution of women in the world population is almost 48.8%. No one can even think to get good human capital development without the contribution of women. Women have made their names in every field of life. They have proven their strength in managing the house and the job in parallel. Many women are now playing their role in human capital development by working in the cooperate sectors, the government sector and by owning the different businesses. Human capital development has direct effects on the GDP of the country. This helps any country to develop a good economy. 

To Overcome the effects of Feudalism:

Feudalism is the worst enemy of women's empowerment. Most feudal lords do not allow their women to go to schools for education. They consider it against the customs of their forefathers.  They do not allow their females to do a job or business. The poor parents of the feudal areas never go against their feudal lords. If someone tries to do so and remains unsuccessful, they punish them severely. The effects of feudalism are badly affecting human capital development, which is the root of economic development in the country. So, women's empowerment is much-needed nowadays.

Should solve the lack of resources and inaccessibility:

Lack of resources and inaccessibility are the main causes of the government. In the rural areas female schools are not easily available. The poor parents cannot afford the extra expenditure of traveling to school for education. That's why the literacy rate is much lower in rural areas. Education is the first and most important step towards women's empowerment. So, the Government should pay special attention to overcome the problems of lack of resources and make education accessible to every single girl.

Need to Sort Out Conflicts between Family and Dreams

The conflict between the family and the dreams of a girl is a major problem nowadays. The parents do not allow doing what the girl really wants to do. These extra protective parents give their children unlimited access to the modern world. They do not allow girls to follow their dreams. This limited access causes permanent conflict between parents and children. This mostly ends up with an annoyance of parents or giving up of dreams by children. This is causing depression in students because every human has feelings, which can't program as a robot to work. Youth is the future of the country. If the youth remain in depression and anxiety. The future of the country will be at the stake. Which is an alarming situation for the growth of the country?

Economic Development:

The economic development of the country can be doubled by empowering its women.  The economy of the country shows the growth of the country. Women play a vital role in the economic development of the country by taking an active part in generating money.

Different organizations are working for women's empowerment. United Nations is also active for gender equality. In sustainable development goals, gender equality is a special focus of UNO. Every country should try their best to overcome these hurdles. Women's empowerment will bring prosperity to the country.
